MINDFUL COLLAGE - ART AND WELLBEING workshop

Explore the link between art and wellbeing with an evening of collage

Join us for a relaxing and mindful experience exploring the therapeutic power of collage art in a friendly and non judgemental space.

This creative activity offers a wonderful opportunity to find calm, reduce stress, improve focus, and enhance your overall well-being. Through the repetitive movements of cutting, tearing, and gluing, you’ll discover how to engage your senses and find a sense of calm and grounding by using the small muscles of your hands. As you create your collage, you’ll notice a release of feel-good hormones and lower cortisol levels, promoting a state of calm and relaxation.

No artistic experience is necessary. This workshop is open to everyone interested in exploring their creativity and finding a moment of peace. We’ll use collage art as a tool of visual communication—we’re not creating fine art but learning about our emotions and expressing them with cut-out images.

During the session, you will:

•Learn basic collage techniques

•Engage in guided breathing exercises to promote relaxation

•Participate in a group discussion about the benefits of creative expression

•Create your own unique collage using a variety of materials
